Costco first major retailer to make face mask coverings mandatory for customers
Big box retailer Costo Wholesale became the first major retailer to make face mask coverings mandatory for their customers starting this coming Monday.
In a recent visit to a Costco in Gudadalajara, Mexico, customers were already seen wearing face masks but this is more of a Jalisco state edict than a Costco company policy.
Costco said on its website :"To protect our members and employees, effective May 4, all Costco members and guests must wear a face covering that covers their mouth and nose at all times while at Costco."
Meanwhile, major brands are jumping into the Face Mask Fashion trend with Disney releasing its own line of branded face masks available for pre order at $19.99 for four masks. See the collection here.
Many other major brands are also retooling their assembly lines to meet what is expected to be an explosion in demand for face coverings, with Uranta Mindful Clothing for example setting up a website, www.uranta.ca, dedicated to selling 2 layer cloth, washable, face masks at wholesale prices starting as low as 99 cents per mask for orders of 1000 or more.
